Today I want to tell you about a crush that I had with our colleagues of iPhonSoft .
These YoutubeToMP3 , an application available (for free) on the repo on Cydia BigBoss (like how sometimes it is good to jailbreak ...).
YoutubeToMP3 is an application that lets you recover the audio from videos posted on YouTube. You will find them in mp3 format.
finish so the fear of many of our mail Hadopi loved, because the advantage of YouTube is that there is a lot of official videos, free and legally. So is it legal to retrieve the audio file? I can not say. Always it is that I'll present this beautiful app, and lets you judge your actions.
When you open YoutubeToMP3 , you will fall on the home page that behaves as follows:
You will find 3 buttons :
- search
- converter
- downloads
Type in the area of research (top) the YouTube video you want, you will have the same result as on the web.
Click the video you want, and the application automatically copy the link in your "clipboard " (it still says that?;))
Then go to " Converter" and paste the URL into the field suitable notice (or enter it manually if you feel like you ... emm).
And then we go ... There is wait until the conversion works.
The application then offers to name the mp3 song and the name of the author.
Then your music will be in the tab downloads.
Note here that I have not named the file.
Then you have the choice to do what you like from this source audio
- listen locally as below

- or e-mail
The latter option is handy if like me you have trouble logging in with your SSH iDevice.
If you prefer this option, you will find your file in the folder var / mobile / Media / Downloads (as mentioned in the application).
You can then insert it into Itunes and so enjoy your iPod music in your favorite device.
We like:

- the price (0 € TTC).
- the incredible service that we provide.
- the ability to email the mp3 song.
- SSH path is indicated, this avoids looking his music in the bowels of the beast, as so often with this kind of application.
We like least:
- the inability to fast forward during playback.
